Welcome to ONGGI

Onggi (옹기) is named after the traditional Korean earthenware vessels used in the ancient art of fermentation, historically used to store and ferment foods such as kimchi, sauces, and pastes.

The restaurant meets contemporary sensibilities in a space where every element tells a story of connection, preservation, and the nurturing spirit of Jeong—a deep emotional bond between people.

It is rooted in the noble dining traditions of the Joseon dynasty, the last and longest-lived imperial dynasty (1392–1910) of Korea.
